"Black Sea and Blue Economy: Ecosystem-Based Management and Marine Spatial Planning" that will be held online on November 19, 2021 within the framework of the International Conference “ITIBSM-2021: Innovative Trends in International Business and Sustainable Management”. The workshop is included in the program of actions of the international project “Black Sea Connect: For a healthy, resilient, and better-valued Black Sea”.

The event is co-organized by Southern Federal University (SFedU) and the Institute for integrated studies of national maritime policy - Russian Technological University (MIREA) with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the workshop will discuss the opportunities to consolidate efforts towards the development of the blue economy, including the development of a Russian research and innovation strategy for the Black Sea in the context of the implementation of the Black Sea Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), as well as existing and promising joint programs, projects and initiatives related to the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea (CMA).
