Dear maritime stakeholders,

The European Commission invites you to save the date for the European Maritime Day 2022 which will take place on 19 & 20 May 2022 in Ravenna, Italy.

European Maritime Day (EMD), targeting professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs and academia, is the annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy, the place where ‘Ocean Leaders Meet’!

EMD 2022 will take place as a physical event in the modern conference center Pala de André in Ravenna. It will be co-organised by the European Commission, the City of Ravenna and the Region of Emilia Romagna.

We offer an interesting programme (more information will follow shortly) with great networking opportunities for the maritime stakeholders: High-level plenary sessions including inspirational speakers, leadership exchanges and stakeholders’ workshops, pitch stage sessions presenting success blue projects, an exhibition, B2B meetings and networking activities.

As in the previous years, stakeholders’ workshops are at the core of the conference. For 2022 we are planning to accommodate 20 high-quality workshops (5 time slots with 4 workshops running in parallel).

Read the call for organising a workshop at EMD 2022 and apply via this link (deadline 5 December 2021).
