On Tuesday 30 November (10:00 - 15:30 EET), the Bulgarian National Hub (Marine Cluster Bulgaria) of the Common Maritime Agenda (CMA)  for the Black Sea will host a national stakeholders event entitled 'Sustainable Blue Economy - Trends and Prospects for Bulgaria', with the support of the Black Sea Assistance Mechanism (BSAM).

During this hybrid event (onsite in the city of Varna), an exciting line-up of speakers from key international institutions, Bulgarian goverment ministries, local goverment bodies and academia will address this topic from their wide-ranging respective areas of expertise and responsibilty.

The conference seeks to trigger a public dialogue on the prospects of a sustainable blue economy in the country, in times of dynamic transformation of public policies and the business. Spotlighting European trends and opportunities and the national potential aims to enhance discussion and catalyze the transition to a sustainable blue economy in Bulgaria, as well as outline the prospects for achieving the Black Sea Common Maritime Agenda key objectives.
