Under the frame of the Expo Dubai 2020 an international conference on Innovating for Sustainable Development will be hosted by the Romanian Pavilion and shall take place in a hybrid format.

The Innovation Cluster MEDGreen, a relevant stakeholder for internation collaborations specialized on Businesses in Ecotechnologies and Alternative Energy Sources will present some of the most significant projects of the Clusters.

Indicatively:

•ROMANA - Optimal allocation of resources by structuring adaptive systems using linear analysis methods;
• MULTISCALE - Research on the development of advanced materials and multiscalar optimization by integrating nano-structured materials into advanced energy systems;
• CIVITAS PORTIS – Innovative and sustainable urban mobility solutions for European port cities;
• soWHat - Supporting new Opportunities for Waste Heat And cold valorisation Towards EU decarbonization.

The event aims to offer a presentation of the results of the above mentioned projects and the projects that have been developed and implemented by the member organization of the Cluster. At the same time the meeting is intended to offer a framework for free debates facilitating the exchange of ideas, best practices and knowledge in order to identify new directions to be followed for conceiving new innovative methodologies for addressing the implementation of SDGs
