The ICBSS launched the International Black Sea Symposium (IBSS) in the context of a need for transnational cooperation in the wider Black Sea region. Through a series of interactive sessions, the International Black Sea Symposium serves as a platform of dialogue and knowledge transfer, aiming to enhance existing synergies, to promote further regional cooperation and to achieve positive results on the social and economic environment of the Black Sea region.

The 13th International Black Sea Symposium on “The Black Sea in crises: challenges and opportunities in an unstable environment” will be held on 2 November 2023, in Athens, Greece.
