Dear Green Deal Call projects,
We are pleased to invite you to the upcoming webinar organized by the Green Deal Projects Support Office (GD-SO) on 'Projects and Policymaking: Contribution of the Green Deal Call Projects to the Nature Restoration Law' taking place on 10 December from 15:00 – 16:30 CET.
This webinar will showcase the contribution of four Green Deal Call projects working on restoring biodiversity and ecosystem services, MERLIN, REST-COAST, SUPERB, and WATERLANDS, to the development and implementation of the Nature Restoration Law (NRL) adopted by the European Council on 17 June 2024. These projects will also illustrate how they engaged to this end with the different policy units, through a panel discussion including speakers from European NGOs.
Building on this specific example of collaboration between projects to impact policymaking, the webinar aims to provide other EU-funded projects the opportunity to get an insight into how projects can concretely contribute to the policy making process, what challenges should be addressed on the way, and what might be the best drivers to facilitate the process.
If you are interested in attending the webinar, please register here by 6 December: https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/GD-SO_webinar_Projects-and-Policymaking. Further information on the webinar and the most recent agenda can be found on this registration page.
We invite you to share this invitation with your colleagues and networks who may be interested in joining.
Best regards,
Green Deal Projects Support Office
